Recommended Gear: Cameras and Microphones

1. Sony Handycam Series
   I use and recommend Sony Handycams. For between $300-$500, depending on features, you can purchase everything you need in a solid camera for making online video. You don’t need to spend thousands to get the shot.
2. Flip Video Mino Series Camcorder
   This great little camera is half the price of the SOny Handycam line and might better fit your needs or your budget.
3. Samson USB Microphone
   Condensor Mics are beautiful. Most condensor mics are expensive and require outboard gear to power them, but this Samson mic grabs it’s power from your USB port and is th ebest sounding mic you’ll find within this price range. I use and highly recommend this mic.
4. Laptop Laidback
   Stand for holding your laptop while you lie in bed and work. Michael has one, and loves it.
5. Newegg.com
   Excellent and reliable site for cheap computers, accessories or other gear. Do some price research before making any large purchase.
