November 2008 - Presented a lecture to Columbia College’s Online Media and Journalism class about YouTube and online video.
May-November 2008 - Wrote the book “YouTube: An Insider’s Guide to Climbing the Charts“, to be published Novmeber 28th by O’Reilly Media, Inc. ISBN-10: 0596521146 / ISBN-13: 978-0596521141
August 2008 - Interviewed for an article in FHM Magazine about upcoming book “YouTube: An Insider’s Guide to Climbing the Charts” and how I got started on YouTube.
July 2008 - Broadcast a live, interactive interview with viral video creators JibJab.
July 2008 - Invited to co-write, perform and edit the short-form comedy video “Behind the Jingle” for HBO (Home Box Office)’s online project, HBO Labs, with comedians Andrew Zilch and Woody Tondorf III.
July 2008 - My live interview talk show, YouTalk, landed a featured show spot on blogTV’s summer 2008 season, and reached the #1 Top Rated show the weekend of July 19th.
February 2008 - Co-created online reality series fiveawesomeguys, which has gone on to become one of the Top 100 Most Subscribed Director channels of All-Time on YouTube.com
November 2007 - Invited to write and direct the short comedy sketch “iPwn” for ex-MadTV cast member, Lisa Donovan (aka LisaNova).
October 2007 - Wrote and Directed the animated music video, “Gravediggers on their Deathbeds, Part 2″, which is then featured on the front page of YouTube.com for over 750,000 views.
July 2007 - Received a personal video response from Senator Chris Dodd addressing a question I posed about Net Neutrality during the CNN/YouTube Presidential Debates.
June 2007 - Invited to record an unaired clip for ABC’s Prime Time show iCaught.
May 2007 - Debut short form film “Five Stories” aired on IFC (Independent Film Channel) four times throughout the month.
April 2007 - Contributed the featured article “DIY Filmmakers” to Verbicide Magazine, Issue #19.
