Cool blogTV trick!
Ever get stuck in a main room on blogTV and wish you could refresh the video window without leaving the main room? Happens a lot when broadcasts freeze. Next time this happens to you, rather than refreshing the page and getting stuck in a waiting room with all the spammers, erase the blogTV url and enter this javascript code:
javascript:liveShowBegin()
into the URL address bar. Then hit “enter”. That will refresh the video window only and will allow you to remain in the main room chat when the broadcast freezes!

that happened to me with Charlie this morning.
there was echos in the room.
I refreshed the page.
I ended up in the wating room!

Great now most people will flipping stay in the room a lot longer instead of letting the new folks like me who haven’t gotten in once because there’s so many flipping butted people in the main room. I’ll be stuck a lot longer in the waiting room.

It’s too dang bad if someone loses their spot in the main room because everyone needs to be fair and let others like ME into the main room from the waiting room.

Krysta, you should come to shows earlier. That way you can get into the main room before it fills up. I usually make the main room because I got to the show well in advance.

Oops, seems like my comment got stuck in the spam filter.
If you use Firefox, there is an add-on available which adds a little refresh link directly under the video stream. Clicking on it refreshes only the stream without moving you back into a waiting room.
To install it, first google for the ‘Greasemonkey’ add-on for Firefox and click install.
Then just google for ‘blogTVrefresher’ and click the install link.
And voila, refreshing has never been easier.

Yay! lots of peeps happy! :D. I gave Alan the code, of course my friend Andy should get the credit because he was the one who gave it me but i did not think it was fair that i had this advantage over everyone else so i shared it with everyone :). Happy Blogtving!.

Now blogtv has a feature where they play the last recorded video if the host is not broadcasting when you come in to the room. If it loads up the video and you’re in before the show the trick does not seem to work, you have to refresh, at least I had to today in Buck’s.
