YouTube: An Insider’s Guide to Climbing the Charts contains a lot of valuable information, but no resource stands on its own. In this special online bonus section, we will outline numerous resources, gear and software, for actually shooting and editing your videos.
This bonus section is broken into two sub-sections - recommended gear (cameras, microphones, etc) and recommended software (for editing and converting videos). Each section will continually be updated as new resources become available, so check back often. To recommend your own, or others’ resources for inclusion in this section, please use one of the contact methods listed to the right.
These are not parts that were cut for length from the book, but rather parts that we want to be able to update. The Internet in general, and YouTube in particular, are constantly moving targets, and lists of recommendations could quickly become out of date. So we put them on here for ya, so we can keep them as fresh and tasty as possible.
